ADM, a global leader in human, pet, and animal nutrition, has united with Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pets, in a collaborative effort to improve the well-being of pets across the Philippines.

Through its ADM Cares initiative, the company’s corporate social responsibility program, ADM is making a significant contribution to establish a dedicated 25 sqm area within Pawssion Project’s shelter, designed specifically for paraplegic dogs and cats. This specialized space will accommodate a hydrotherapy facility, aiding in the rehabilitation of rescued animals. Simultaneously, it will provide sustenance for all the pets. ADM Pet Nutrition will supply comprehensive and balanced pet food, including Ganador® – a high-quality dog food suitable for all breeds and life stages, and Minino® – a professional cat food tailored to felines of all ages and sizes.

“At ADM, we firmly believe in the impact of community and empathy. Our partnership with Pawssion Project underscores our unwavering commitment to making a positive influence in the communities we operate within,” expressed Clare Torralba, Director of Pet Nutrition, Asia-Pacific excluding China (APeC). Torralba further stated, “Pawssion Project has an exceptional track record in providing care and homes for rescued pets since 2018. Their mission deeply resonated with us, compelling us to support their noble cause and contribute to the enhancement of pet welfare in the Philippines.”

THE ADM CARES AND PAWSSION PROJECT PARTNERSHIP. During the turnover ceremony in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, ADM Philippines, under the leadership of Clare Torralba, Director of Pet Nutrition, Asia Pacific excluding China, collaborated with Raymond Molina, Trade Marketing Manager, APeC, Johanna Emata, ADM Philippines Business Development Manager for Pet Nutrition, and Dr. Aileen Guerrero, Marcomms and Brand Experience Manager. They were joined by Malou Perez, Founder of Pawssion Project Rescue Shelter, alongside members of the media.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Representatives from ADM, including Clare Torralba and Raymond Molina, engaging with some of the dogs and cats under Pawssion Project’s care. These rescued companions will now enjoy the benefits of Ganador Premium Dog Food and Minino Yum Cat Food.

Committed to enhancing the lives of both people and animals in the communities it operates, ADM Cares actively contributes monetarily and through volunteerism to initiatives and organizations driving significant social, economic, and environmental advancements globally. This timely contribution will propel Pawssion Project’s vision of rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding new homes for abused and neglected pets.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU. The donation from ADM Cares will have a positive impact on over 300 dogs and 50 cats at Pawssion Project, offering crucial support to the rescued animals.

ADM’s contribution serves as a significant boost to Pawssion Project, which relies on donations to sustain its operations. Malou Perez, Founder of Pawssion Project, conveyed deep gratitude for the generous contribution, stating, “ADM Cares’ benevolence significantly bolsters our mission to provide stray animals a second chance at happiness. With this partnership and donation, our aspirations for these pets are now within reach. ADM’s dedication to animal welfare sets a remarkable example of how collective efforts can create a profound impact. We firmly believe that their support will open doors for public and private sector support alike.”

Johanna Emata, ADM Philippines Business Development Manager for Pet Nutrition, reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting organizations like Pawssion Project. “We firmly believe in extending love, kindness, and compassion to all animals. Our aim is to ensure these shelters possess the necessary resources to care for the pets under their guardianship.” Raymond Molina, Trade Marketing Manager, APeC, added, “We will continue championing organizations dedicated to meaningful causes. Our hope is that this collaboration paves the way for a brighter future for our four-legged companions.”
