Renewable energy company receives Outstanding Stakeholder award from DepEd Calbayog City for its support of education and community development

In Calbayog City, Samar, one such partnership was recently recognized as Vena Energy was named an “Outstanding Stakeholder” by the Department of Education (DepEd), Schools Division of Calbayog City.
The recognition was presented during the annual Stakeholders Summit at the Calbayog City Convention Center, bringing together education leaders, local government representatives, and private sector partners to celebrate collaborations supporting schools and communities.
Vena Energy, a renewable energy company, was recognized for its support, partnership, and contributions to education and stakeholder engagement in Calbayog City.
The company’s involvement in the local education community includes initiatives through its subsidiary, Gemini Wind Energy Corp. (GWEC).
Accepting the award on behalf of Vena Energy were Marivic Acuyong, CSR Manager at Vena Energy, and Falconeri Miranda, Project Manager at GWEC. Their participation highlighted the company’s continuing partnership with DepEd Calbayog City and the communities where it operates.
