Both campaigns highlight the importance of multidisciplinary strategies for ALPAS. As Co-founder and CEO Ms. Marzie Marzan shares, “Our approach to public relations has always been to weave communications with stakeholder engagement and innovative mediums. We are so proud to have won for these tangible projects in support of our nation’s development.”

For the Public Service Campaign, ALPAS won for “Batang Bakunado, Todong Protektado!”, a digital-led campaign from early 2023 addressing the misinformation surrounding COVID-19 pediatric vaccination. The team hosted a Facebook Live webinar featuring insights from trusted medical experts answering genuine questions and concerns from parents.

This campaign was in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Philippine Department of Health (DOH), and engaged influential Facebook groups geared towards supporting Filipino mothers. ALPAS furthered the reach of this webinar by leveraging on traditional media and implementing a digital media buying strategy targeted at parents, aged 23-50.

Meanwhile, ALPAS also won for Best NGO Engagement with their “Negros Occidental Impact 2025 Campaign”, addressing the housing gap in Negros Occidental by hosting housing fora and collaborating with important stakeholders in the government. Implemented by Habitat for Humanity in partnership with the Hilti Foundation and Base Bahay Foundation, this initiative aims to bridge the housing gap, particularly impacting informal settlers in disaster-prone areas.

Atty. Carlo Escalada, ALPAS Chief Strategy Officer and a veteran in government relations, reflected on the company’s journey: “We are still quite a young company, launching in 2020. However, we’ve seen so much growth in these past few years, with these wins further proving the impact of the hard work and commitment of our entire team.”

The company was also recognized for its corporate social responsibility arm ANGKLA, which has supported several schools and organizations through media literacy and fake news training workshops. ANGKLA was shortlisted in two categories at the Gold Standard Awards: Issues Management and Crisis Communications, and Corporate Citizenship.

The Gold Standard Awards is an esteemed platform designed to showcase and honor the outstanding work of public relations experts in the region. These wins underscore ALPAS’s commitment to excellence and innovation in strategic communications, setting a new benchmark for the PR industry in the Philippines and beyond.
