The October 28–29 event will give experienced Filipino pilots a chance to explore international flying careers, advanced training, and opportunities to join the airline’s global operations.

For Filipino pilots looking to take their aviation careers to the international stage, a new opportunity is coming to Manila as Emirates prepares to hold its first pilot recruitment roadshow in the Philippines.

In partnership with Industrial Personnel and Management Services, Inc. (IPAMS), the Dubai-based airline will conduct the recruitment event on October 28 and 29, 2026, as it strengthens its pilot recruitment efforts amid growing customer demand and expanding global operations.

The roadshow is open to experienced commercial pilots interested in joining Emirates as First Officers, Direct Entry Captains, or through its Accelerated Command Programme.

Sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on October 28, and 10 a.m. on October 29. Interested candidates are encouraged to register through the official roadshow registration form.
A Chance to Take a Career Beyond Borders
For aviation professionals, flying with an international airline can offer opportunities to work across continents, gain experience with modern aircraft, and become part of a global aviation network.

During the Manila roadshow, prospective applicants can learn about Emirates’ recruitment process, available positions, training programmes, career progression, and employee benefits. They will also have the opportunity to speak with pilots currently flying for the airline and hear about their professional experiences.

The event will feature information on Emirates’ Narrowbody to Widebody Direct Entry Captain Campaign, which is intended to support eligible pilots seeking opportunities in the airline’s wide-body operations.

Khalid Al Zarooni, Emirates’ Country Manager for the Philippines, said the airline offers pilots the opportunity to operate one of the world’s youngest and most modern all-wide-body fleets, serving destinations across its international network.

“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleets across a global network. They will have the opportunity to undergo robust in-house training at Emirates’ cutting-edge training facility and be based in the vibrant city of Dubai,” Al Zarooni said.

“We look forward to welcoming more pilots from the Philippines onboard our airline as we ramp up our operations globally,” he added.
Global Flying Experience and Family Benefits
Emirates operates a network spanning six continents, offering pilots exposure to a wide range of international destinations and operating environments.

The airline has taken delivery of 27 Airbus A350 aircraft, with another 47 on order, alongside 270 Boeing 777X aircraft on order.

Beyond flying opportunities, Emirates offers a benefits package designed to support employees and their families while based in Dubai. Benefits include a competitive tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave with travel tickets for employees and their immediate families, company-provided accommodation in gated communities, and a child education allowance.

The package also includes life, medical, and dental insurance, as well as discounted travel benefits for extended family members and friends.

For Filipino aviation professionals considering an overseas career, these benefits provide additional factors to consider alongside the demands and responsibilities of working for an international airline.
Training for the Next Stage of a Pilot’s Career
Emirates said newly hired pilots undergo in-house training based on evidence and demonstrated competencies at its advanced training facilities in Dubai.

These include the newly opened Emirates Crew Training Centre, a US$135 million purpose-built facility housing six full-flight simulator bays for the airline’s Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X aircraft.

The training programme is designed to prepare pilots for the airline’s operational requirements while supporting their development as they transition into its fleet and flight operations.
How Filipino Pilots Can Apply
Experienced commercial pilots interested in exploring opportunities with Emirates can attend the Manila roadshow on October 28 or 29, subject to registration and applicable eligibility requirements.
